Easter Party Ideas

If you want to do something fun for Easter and need Easter party ideas, you're in the right place! Easter might not seem like the biggest "party" holiday, however there really are some wonderful ways to host an Easter party as a way to celebrate the holiday.
Here are a bunch of Easter party ideas to get you started with your Easter party planning!
  • Easter Egg Decorating Party: This is a great Easter party idea for the kids. Before your Easter party, hard boil several white eggs and let them cool. When the kids arrive, put out several decorating materials like paint, markers, stickers, and whatever other materials you can think of to decorate your eggs! If you plan to dye the eggs, leave the eggs in the dye for at least 3 minutes so that they keep the color. In addition to creating pretty designs on the Easter eggs, you can also make egg people. Have each kid draw a face onto the shell, then use materials like felt, ribbon, and lace to make an outfit for the egg to wear. Encourage the kids to use their imaginations!
  • Easter Brunch Buffet: An Easter brunch with friends and family is a great idea for a low-key Easter party. Set up a long table that will fit all of the items on your menu. Place a festive tablecloth on the table. Cook up a variety of breakfast foods like eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, and French toast to serve. Also include lunch items such as deli sandwiches, salads, and pasta. Label each item on your buffet table so guests know what they're trying, then enjoy catching up with guests over brunch!
  • Easter Cookie Swap: The winter holiday season is usually filled with cookie swaps between friends and family members. But why not have a cookie swap around the Easter season too? Send out Easter invitations to your friends to let them know about the cookie swap. Host the event a few days before Easter so that you can bring a variety of delicious Easter desserts to your celebration on Easter Sunday!
  • Easter Craft Party: This is a fun Easter party idea for kids or adults! Plan a few weeks ahead of time what types of craft projects you want to do so that you can purchase the necessary materials. Send out your Easter party invitations to your guests to let them know about the party and what they should bring. You can have different stations set up when guests arrive that focus on various crafts or different materials!
