- ½ cup of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla extract
- ¾ cups of jam (strawberry)
- 1 pint of blueberries

Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line a 9-inch square baking pan with foil, greased. Stir graham-cracker crumbs, butter and sugar in a bowl. Press it into the bottom of the baking pan. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. In a small bowl blend cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Pour the mixture over the crust, and bake for 45 minutes. Place in the refrigerator to cool. Cook the strawberry jam over a low heat in a small saucepan. Strain out the strawberries. Once the jam has cooled, pour it into a plastic bag and seal it. Once cool, lift the foil liner with the cheesecake out of the pan. Peel away the foil and cut 12 pieces. Decorate each square to look like a flag. Use the blueberries as the stars for the flag. Cut a hole in the corner of the bag of jam and draw lines as the stripes on the flag.
